The padded infant insert is designed so you can use your 4th generation Beco Carrier with your newborn baby right from the beginning. It can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier and be adjusted and folded to pad just the right places for your baby. Your newborn is then cradled in a cozy, protected environment close to your heart. It is also a perfect position for breastfeeding.

With it, your baby can be worn in a reclining position (cradled or like when breastfeeding) so both legs remain together to one side, the head leans to the other side with the baby's bottom centered in the middle of the carrier.

It can cradle and cushion baby in the car seat or a stroller. If you intend to use your 4th gen Beco carrier from the very beginning, the insert is highly recommended.
