Beco Butterfly carriers include a built-in infant insert, a sleeping hood, chest strap that slides to adjust its height but can never fall off, and a stay-put strap for rolling it up. There are ergonomic improvements in the shoulder strap shape and the foam padding inside them.

The butterfly can do a front carry or back carry, and yes, hands-free nursing IS possible. DVD instructions are included.

Waist extender is NOT necessary because the Butterfly waist is adjustable to 58", much longer than the 4th generation was. It is also superior in fitting people with especially large or small body types.
