I purchased the squares color of the Pikkolo Carrier, and love it. My infant is still in the newborn stage, just beginning to hold his head steady, and he rides comfortably facing me in front. It is a little harder on the back when the child rides in front but it is easy to put him in, slide him up for friends to see when I go visiting, and to rock him to sleep when he is fussy. It's a little difficult to do one handed snaps sometimes, but the buckles are big, sturdy, and easy to grab. The straps are easy to resize when you are not wearing the carrier, but the safety feature that keeps them from resizing when you are carrying the baby make it harder to resize then, also. It is doable, but it takes both hands. I had a C-Section, and shortly after my husband also had surgery, so between us we could not lift more than 15 lbs. This made it so we could not carry our child in his infant car seat when we went to the pediatrician or grandparents' houses, so I would carry him in the Pikkolo while my husband carried the empty seat. It was wonderful for that, and I still use it all the time when we go out for walks or visiting.
